Denman Island
Denman Island is truly one of the jewels of the Gulf Islands. With three Provincial Parks, two beautiful swimming lakes, beaches, hiking trails, and a rich local Arts culture, there is something for everyone, and so much to explore!
Lambert Channel B and B is located on the East shore of the Island, a 15 minute drive across the island from the Denman Village and ferry landing. The Village offers shopping at the quaint General Store and Hardware Store, the Bookstore and the Craft Shop featuring local arts and crafts. The local bakery offers fresh bread daily, and the Kaffee Klatsch Bistro is a full menu restaurant open year-round with limited hours in the Fall through Spring. The library, two Real Estate offices, the Summer Art Gallery and Arts Centre will give you plenty of opportunity to wander around. You might just be visiting in time for a concert at the Community Hall!
For those of you who like to kayak or canoe, there is a rental outfit just up the road from the B&B, and Graham Lake to swim in and explore within a 20 minute walk. For art lovers, Denman Island boasts over 65 professional artists, in a variety of media, many of whom have open studios throughout the summer. We can provide you with a Map & Guide to these studios, so you can take a self-guided tour of the island's artistic riches.
Beyond Denman - Area Attractions

Hornby Island offers scenic hiking, artists studios, fabulous soft sand beaches, wineries, and fine dining. Why not rent a kayak and paddle over to Hornby for Friday Night Jazz at the Thatch Pub, or spend an afternoon wine-tasting?
Adjacent Vancouver Island offers many activities and attractions. Ski or hike beautiful Mount Washington, explore breathtaking, historic Strathcona Park, or meander up and down the scenic waterfront highway 19A.
